1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MOT Reminder ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

MOT Reminder provides automated reminder services for MOT due dates. We help car dealerships and garages notify their customers via email and SMS before their MOT expires.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• One account per dealership/garage unless agreed otherwise
• You must be 18 years or older to create an account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Send spam or unsolicited communications
• Upload customer data without their consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
• Use the Service to send malicious content

5. Customer Data Responsibilities

As a dealer using our Service, you:

• Confirm you have consent to store customer data
• Are responsible for the accuracy of customer information
• Will comply with UK GDPR when collecting customer data
• Will honor unsubscribe requests promptly
• Remain the data controller for your customer data

6. Pricing and Payment

• Free plan: Available with limitations as stated
• Paid plans: Billed monthly or annually as selected
• Prices may change with 30 days notice
• No refunds for partial months of service
• We may suspend accounts with overdue payments

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by MOT Reminder and protected by UK and international copyright laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to fees paid in the last 12 months
• We are not responsible for missed MOT appointments due to undelivered reminders
• We do not guarantee email/SMS delivery rates

10. Termination

• You may cancel your account at any time
• We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days
• You can export your data before cancellation

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
